The American Freedom Bell at the Charlotte History Museum

A gift from the Belk Foundation to the people of the Charlotte area.  It represents freedom and symbolizes the patriotism and pride of North Carolina.
The historic Hezekiah Alexander House - The Rock House  (Log Kitchen in the background)

Built in 1774 and it is the oldest surviving structure in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
Hezekiah Alexander Homesite

Circa 1774, this house is the oldest home still standing in Mecklenburg County.  Constructed of locally quarried stone.
